These Terms of Sale govern the purchase of tickets and paid event services offered by Confero. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the terms applicable to your booking.

About the event

Confero is a design and engineering conference bringing together professionals, researchers, founders, and creative teams for talks, workshops, and networking.

The event is planned for The Glasshouse in Manhattan, New York, across three days. The dates, venue information, and session details provided on our website and booking confirmation apply to your purchase.

Ticket purchases

Tickets are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and a confirmation has been issued.

Please check your selected ticket type, event dates, attendee details, and any applicable restrictions before completing your purchase.

You are responsible for providing accurate information during registration.

Ticket types and access

Each ticket provides access to the sessions, activities, and facilities included in the description of the selected pass.

Workshops, dinners, networking activities, and other limited-capacity sessions may require advance registration or be subject to availability.

Tickets may not be resold or transferred in violation of the conditions communicated at the time of purchase.

Pricing and payment

Ticket prices and applicable fees will be displayed during checkout. Any required taxes or additional charges will be disclosed before payment is completed, as required by law.

Payments are processed through the payment provider presented during checkout. Payment transactions may also be subject to that provider's terms and policies.

Cancellations and refunds

Our cancellation and refund policy will be displayed during the ticket purchase process.

Before publishing, specify your actual refund rules, including whether tickets are refundable, the deadline for cancellation requests, any permitted fees, and how to request a refund.

Any statutory consumer rights that apply to your purchase remain unaffected by this policy.

Ticket transfers

Ticket transfers are subject to the conditions communicated during registration.

Where transfers are permitted, requests must be submitted through the official process before the applicable deadline. Updated attendee information may be required to maintain accurate registration records.

Event changes

We make reasonable efforts to deliver the event as described. However, speakers, sessions, schedules, room assignments, and activities may change due to availability or circumstances beyond our control.

We will communicate significant changes through appropriate event channels where reasonably possible.

Event cancellation or postponement

If the event is cancelled, postponed, or materially changed, we will notify ticket holders and provide the options available under the applicable event policy and law.

The policy should clearly explain whether customers are eligible for refunds, credits, replacement tickets, or other remedies in these circumstances.

Attendee responsibilities

All attendees must follow the event Code of Conduct, venue rules, safety instructions, and reasonable directions from event staff.

We reserve the right to take appropriate action if an attendee breaches these requirements, subject to applicable law and the event's published policies.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Confero will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from attendance or event changes.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

Governing law

The governing law and jurisdiction must be confirmed by the legal entity responsible for selling tickets, taking into account applicable consumer protection laws.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Sale when necessary. The terms applicable to a purchase should be made available to the customer during checkout.
